Project details

SW Montgomery Drive

This 9000 SF Arts & Crafts Tudor Revival is a doubled-in-size reimagination of the original 4500 SF 1909 house that was there, by Portland’s most famous Arts & Crafts architect, Emil Schacht.

Aram designed absolutely every detail of the entire house from roof to foundation–literally every stick and every brick is in Aram’s computer.  And yet every detail is authentic Emil Schacht.  Aram pored over historic photos of Schacht’s houses and visited every similar Schacht house in Portland, taking extensive notes and measurements, and bringing it all back to create this singular “Uber-Schacht” beauty.
